Hey Friends!

I’m Philip. I love Jesus, my family, coffee, and sports. I am a former pastor in the Sacramento area, who currently works in church relations for a non-profit called World Relief. I am a recent graduate of Western Seminary with my Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies, and because I apparently love homework, a current Master of Divinity student at Western. I am married to the most amazing woman I could ever imagine, Carissa, and together, we have two incredible kids.

I began pursuing ministry seriously in 2013. I have a passion for studying and teaching God’s Word, believing this is what I was created to do. I am passionate about introducing people to Jesus, because through Him, we can be fully seen, known, loved, and can experience belonging.

Ultimately, my desire is to live everyday doing the next right thing, and learning how to pursue my purpose in Christ.
